Strictly necessary

Session and authentication: keeps you signed in and protects your account. These cannot be turned off without breaking sign-in.
Security: abuse prevention and request integrity.

Preferences

Dismissed guidance panels, guided-tour progress, and interface choices.
On-device AI cache: if you install the browser AI model, its files and an install marker are cached locally so it downloads only once per device. Clearing site data removes it.

Analytics and advertising

We do not run advertising cookies and we do not sell browsing data. Any usage measurement is limited to aggregate reliability and performance information.

Managing storage

You can clear cookies and site data at any time through your browser settings. Doing so signs you out, resets preferences, and removes the cached AI model. Your research data stays safe in your account.
